Messages and communications. If you email us, request a demo, or use the chatbot, we may receive the content of your message and related contact information.
Technical information. Hosting and security systems may process basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, request timestamps, pages visited, error logs, and approximate location derived from network data.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to respond to enquiries, evaluate early-access fit, schedule demos or pilot discussions, operate and secure the website, troubleshoot errors, improve website content, and understand interest in SteelBox features.
We do not sell your early-access enquiry information.
3. Chatbot and AI Provider Processing
The website chatbot sends your chat messages to a server-side AI provider so it can generate a response. API keys are kept on the server and are not exposed to your browser.
Do not enter confidential project drawings, client-confidential details, sensitive personal information, passwords, payment data, or regulated data into the chatbot. Chatbot answers are informational only and do not replace professional engineering review.
4. Service Providers and Sharing
We may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, DNS, analytics or logs, AI response generation, security, and operational support. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to the website.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transaction involving the SteelBox project.

The current public website is designed as a lightweight landing page. Hosting, browser, or third-party services may still use cookies or similar technologies for security, session, performance, or operational purposes. If analytics are added later, this policy may be updated.
